The engine upgrade did not have any meaningful features other than possible optimizations, so you will not be missing out on any new features by playing on the Early Access branch. Meanwhile, you can simply switch to the Early Access branch of the game to continue to enjoy your beloved mods. Remember that we are all doing this in our free time and for our own enjoyment, and that we have lives and jobs! It is going to stay like that for a while, as fixing the mod loader requires coordination with the game's developers as well as hard work from our own development team. Hi everyone ! The long-awaited "engine upgrade" of Satisfactory has just dropped! This means that modding will not work at all on the Experimental branch. Like starting a new game, but with everything unlocked. start the game off with everything in the game unlocked to make progression on building your dream factory.
They are working hard to get it working with the new engine but IT IS NOT AVAILABLE YET and they don't currently have a timeline for it being completed.Įarly Access Mods can still be accessed and work as normal, just not Experimental branch as the mod engine itself does not yet exist to run them.
